Does anyone else do a happy dance when they finally have a bm?

I seriously feel like dancing after I am able to poop!! I have always been regular, but since surgery this seems to be an issue. I know I have read many others say that same, but it made me smile and took me to the potty training days with our kids!! I actually feel like doing a happy dance. Lol

Yep. What an accomplishment, right?!

Yeah....Ya because our bodies are consuming to little we tend to use most of what we take in....now realizing that there should be waste it is not nearly what our bodies are used too. But I am always relieved when I go....

Me, too. I mentioned my, uh, infrequency to my surgeon last Friday. I've added Benefiber once a day. He suggested Miralax once a day, too, but I haven't added it yet.

I still mix a teaspoon of miralax in my morning shake. I had the most severe and painful constipation several times in the first 6 weeks or so. In that time our bodies are severely lacking in Fiber and trying to get the Protein in.

I found a children's fiber gummy. I take about 4-5 of those throughout the day. It helps.

I've made two poodles (two days in a row) since my surgery and I am three weeks out. I have no doubt I will do a dance if I ever poo again. It's been nine days.

Girl, you might need some intervention! Nine days it just too long! You are going to drop a pound or two when that lets loose. ;)
