Sleep positions?

I forgot to ask my doctor about this. Can we sleep on our sides or just restricted to the back? I was sleeved June 4.

Ugh everything hurts! And I'm starving!!!

It hurts to sleep on my side. So I try to sleep on my back but last night I took my pain medication before bed and woke up hours later once the pain medication wore off and realized I was in so much pain. The whole day my left side hurt!!!

As far as hunger my stomach feels warm and empty I usually eat a popsicle and it helps. Best of luck to you.

I slept in a recliner for three days then went back to bed. Now I use a body pillow to help cushion everything when I lay on my side.

I slept on my side the 2nd night. 1st night I was still in the hospital and slept on and off on my back since I had my IV hooked up.
