I made it! Surg was Friday and i came home Sunday. I was nauseous from anesthesia but otherwise very little pain. I am only able to get in a few sips and a few bites of food. Hoping i dont get dehydrated but happy its over.

So happy you're thru the surgery and feeling well!

Yes, i feel good. The day of surg practically no pain at all. Did u have issues w pureed when u came home? Alot of people are tellin me they were on liquids when they came home but i was put ob puree when i came home, i figured u were on puree also.

I was on puréed when I get home and I did not get a lot in but I keep trying everyday. I did drink Protein shakes just in case I could not get the food in. I am so glad you are ok and on the losers bench.

Yes, everyday I could do a little more of the puree. And drink more water. Everyday did get easier! Now I'm starting to workout and def feeling its much easier without the extra weight. Internally everything feels completely normal moving around that much. I did feel a little pull by a scar doing a plank yesterday but no pain just enough to notice. You will be amazed at how quickly your body recovers!

Great. I am feeling no pain right now except for my heel lol. I need new shoes. I start soft food on friday i think, im gonna call tomorrow for the info on it cuz i only got the puree stage info, im tired of puree but i cant imagine that soft foods would be that different.

Congratulations on surgery. I had my surgery at Little Company of Mary and I was on liquid for about 6 weeks. It was terrible because I could not handle the protein shakes. After about 6 weeks I was able to start the soft foods. Now I'm eating regular foods, I can only take 1 or 2 little bites but I find if I mix the protein powder into soft foods, I'm getting in all the required protein.
