You know its all relative, most people would be so delighted with such a good weight loss. You should be so proud of yourself. I wish you continued success and contentment.

1st off congrats and 71lbs way to go, and don't give up.

Don't feel bad or discouraged at all!! I am now at 9 months out, lost 84 lbs so far, 10 lbs was pre op. So, since surgery I've lost 74 lbs at 9 months. As all will say, we are all different and lose at different rates, but we will lose!! I'm at the gym 5 days a week with 50 min of cardio and add 20 min of strength training to that 3 days a week. My weight loss even slowed down alot the past 3 months, but I just know we have to keep on keeping on, no other way around it, right? We might be slower, but you are doing awesome in my eyes!! Smile :-)

Are you crazy?? :D LOL before this surgery if you could have told me I could loose 71 pounds in only 8 months I would have kissed your feet! Thats a little over 8 pounds a month. :)

I am 7 months post op and hit a stall...it will pass

It's hard getting past stalls. I'm approaching my 6 month mark. I'm going up and down by 3 lbs. I think we're scared the ride is over. I know if I could get rid of my loose skin I'd lose another 30 lbs. I keep pushing and hoping the scale will move again.

Don't feel bad because others lose faster. You're not failing. Although I've lost over 100, only 68 of those have been post op. But I'm still losing. In fact, I dipped under 200 today for the first time in 30 years! So even though people who were sleeved in the same month have already reached goal (and are wearing size 8's) I can't consider myself a failure. I just need to work a bit harder and stick to my diet plan.
