Most people will rip you a new one for drinking and/or smoking this soon post-op.

My doc was death on smoking. He would not operate if his tests found smoking. Most of the complications he had to deal with were smoking related. He would send you packing.

I am "smoking" now, at least my wife thinks so. B)

In all honesty (not trying to be the bad guy) you should continue to not smoke. As for vodka I dont drink, but alot of posters say after a year. Some though drink after like a couple of months. Ask your doctor they should give you the right answer to both.
