Wondering if anyone used UHC and see how long they take on approvals? My file was submitted yesterday. It contains a paych sign off NUT sign off Dr referral, and orthopedic dr referral. Any guesses?

Did u have a pre diet requirement I was denied in December because it was not completed.... Resubmitted in April after completing and got approved in 5 days

As long as you have all the required sign-offs, the approval should be rather quick....1 week with Aetna, not sure about UHC

There was not diet requirement. They called and got my requirements when I had my first appt.

I was approved in a week. Just make sure you given them everything they want. You should call UHC and ask to speak to the bariatric resource nurse. They will guide you well in terms of your requirements and will prescreen you.
