June 6th!

June 6th at 5:30am is when I will be at the hospital for my surgery. My doctor says it will take about an hour for the procedure. I will have to stay in the hospital for at least one night. My plans are to return to work the following Monday. This Pre-op diet really sucks! I am so hungry! I feel like I could eat an entire buffet bar! But I just keep my mind focused on my goals and how fabulous I will be after I loose all this weight!! I am super nervous, but I'm also very excited!! :)

Congrats and good luck. The pre-op diet get's better after a few days in. What kind of job? If a lot of standing and especially lifing may need a bit more time.

June 6 is my surgery date as well. I plan on taking the following week off and returning to work on Monday, June 18-- thankfully I have an office job so shouldn't be a problem.

I start my pre surgery liquid diet this upcoming Thursday & know its going to be tough but just telling myself that it's only for 2 weeks before & of course 2 weeks after... I can do anything for 4 weeks (I hope!! GULP). I am having some anxiety about the entire thing. I have never had surgery before so this is all foreign ground for me. But I know that this is what I need to do.

Best to luck to you in the upcoming weeks!!

Good Luck!

June 6th for me too! There are a lot of June 6th threads already so there are many others with the same date!
