Sleeping ALL the time!

Has anyone else had this same issue? I am just over two weeks post op and the first week I was fine, resting but not sleeping constantly but now, my third weekend I am sleeping ALL day. I have no energy. I have heard this might be hibernation syndrome where the body shuts down as a reaction to the lack of calories. HELP!

it could also be that you aren't getting enough protein, that will make you feel weak and tired all the time. How much protein are you getting in a day?

I had the same problem for the first couple of weeks after surgery. It will get better once you start consuming more calories and protein.

Its normal. I was terribly tired for 2 months.
