Just sleeved

I just got my sleeve four days ago. Feeling much better now that I am home and away from the hospital. Fighting gas pain and soreness but otherwise doing great. Got my sleeve after waiting one year and attending hundreds of appointments, classes and stuff. l still feel like I didnt really know what to expect. So it takes about a month to feel normal again?

Congratulations! Yes, you will begin to feel better each day. Be gentle with yourself, get plenty of rest, and take things one day at a time.

Yeah for you! Yes it will take about a month or so to feel your strength recharged. Everyone is different.... Just take one day at a time. I use gas x strips for the gas and it has helped me tons! Best wishes

Why a year?

13 Days post op revision and I feel great! Back to my normal routine minus the lifting and no problems. I just get tired by about 3pm but I just think its because I am not eating much for energy. Trying to get the protein in is hard. I can eat pureed/soft foods but I really don't have much of an appetite so I kind of have to force myself to eat. Best of luck!

I had to go to classes, appointments for a year to meet the bariatric protocol for my insurance. Stuff happened like my paperwork didnt get sent out by the doctor by my primary and the whole process took a long time. Starting to feel better now on my fifth day out. @ Sherrypep ouch! revision sounds scary I am hoping no more hospitals and surgeries for me. Be praying for you for a fast recovery.

I felt much more normal after 2-3 weeks.
