New here!

Hi! I am so happy to have found this place. I am just getting started. I have a seminar on May 22 and my first surgeon appointment is May 30. I am so terrified and excited at the same time. I have a long way to go but I'm ready.

I'm at my highest weight ever right now. Around 390, but I have been here before. I lost almost 100 pounds on Atkins in 2010 and got pregnant and gained it all back. Weight has been a lifelong struggle for me an I'm ready for a permanent solution.

Hi there. Who is the surgeon you will be seeing for your surgery? Going to Mexico?

I am in North Carolina. Dr. Fernandez (Fuzz) at Baptist will be doing my surgery. My insurance doesn't require anything other than a psych exam and the doctor saying that I am a good candidate.

Welcome! North Carolina here as well.....Hickory/Statesville area. I had my surgery with Dr. Cook at Frye Hosp in Hickory.
