I had my surgery 15 months ago. I just recenlty can only eat soups,jello nothing real solid or I will just throw it up. I have lost 125 pounds so far! Just wanting to see if any sleevers have ever had this happen? I feel im too far out to have these complications. I had my surgery in a different state so my new insurance will not cover visits there. The Doctors I see seem to no have an real understanding of my surgery!!!

I'm sorry that you're having complications. I can't offer you advice but I do hope things get better for you.

You might want to ask if you can get referred to a gastroenterologist.. It might be a stricture (scar tissue build up in the esophagus) they would just scope you to see and then possible fix it right there by dilating the esophagus..

Just a thought..

I would call your surgeon's office and see if they have an information packet they could send your new doc. That's what my surgeon' office does. They want to make sure whoever else is taking care of their patients knows exactly what they've had done.

Like Laura said.. Get your new PCP to refer you to a specialist
