I just got my surgery date today. January 9th.

I have to admit, I'm nervous. I've done my research and am happy with the decision, but still...

I was warned today about "The Last Supper Syndrome". Then on my way home I bought a box of Queen Anne Cordial Cherries. Apparently I am highly suggestible.

The Last Supper ha,ha,ha wait till you are banded and can eat anything you want. There is nothing that I can not eat, just small meals and I am full.

Woohoo! Yes it is a bit nerve wracking but just think of the benefits...Far more to loose if you don't than if you do! Keep us posted on your progress.

I wouldn't worry too much. If your doctor doesn't have you on a preop diet I would indulge until surgery. So what if you gain a lb or 2. Lapband is for life and the changes will come. Enjoy. Have a 6" subway for me please.
