Liquids

My surgery was May 3. I cant seem to keep up on my liquids. The smell of any broth makes me so sick. I love my sugar free popsicles! Any suggestions?

Stick with what you can tolerate. Right now you just need the liquid.

You can have cream soup add some water to it and strain chicken out. I noticed I drink more if I add ice to my water. I like it real cold now for some reason.

I've been sipping every fifteen minutes. Protein shakes, water. I'm about to get a Popsicle. I forgot about them. You can do it. Did you have to do the all liquid diet prior?

Ice chips and popsicles were all I could tolerate the first week or so. I couldn't tolerate protein shakes for a while so you are doing good! :)

Yes I was on clear liquids before surgery. The surgeon is only allowing me the same up to at least two weeks post op. I cant have protein shakes either only clear liquids. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
