Help Please

Fist let me apologize if this is repetitive. I had my sleeve Wednesday and until last evening and today felt fine. Now, I feel awful. The Belly pain is so bad. I also had a hiatal hernia repaired and maybe this contributes to the pain some...i'm not sure. It hurts really bad to take deep breaths. I do not feel like eating anything, but have been sipping Water nonstop since sugery. I am trying to drink some of the powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chicken Soup now. My pain med is Lortab and it is not helping the pain really at all. Also-I haven't had shoulder pain from the gas, but both of my traps on either side of my neck are killing me. Could that be from the gas?

I guess I'm just wondering is this all normal? I read so much on these boards and thought I was prepared, mentally and physically, however, it has hit me like a ton of bricks. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!

  • EVERYTHING you wrote sounds like what happened to me. I think it may be gas, but to be sure take your temperature and notice if you have any fevers, chills, sweating, and nasuea along with the pain. I

  • Poor thing! You just had surgery 2 days ago, your body is trying to heal and push out all that trapped air. You are going to have pain, if it gets too bad and what you are taking isn't helping call yo

You should or else you may get nauseaus

"Trap" is short for trapezius, the muscle that runs from the side of your neck down your spine along the shoulderblade.

^ see... two very different answers.

Well, listen to your body. If you have been nauseous lately try the lortab after you have had some Protein.

Trap is short for trapezius muscle. It's the muscle that runs between the neck and shoulder. Sorry that's not the best answer. Not sure how to describe it. I'm trying to attach a picture but not sure it will work...

ok...the pic didn't work but if you click on the "url" I posted up there it will show you the trapezius muscle. My pain is all in the section near my neck.
