Lower BMI Bandsters!

This group is for weight loss support for lower bmi bandsters (of course anyone is welcome!).

For encouragement, tips, accountability.... Give stats, helpful advice, etc.

How much weight you have lost, how long it took. etc.

In some case I have found it takes a lower BMI patient a lot longer to lose the weight.

Introduce yourself and jump on in!!!:welcomeB: :welcome2:

Audree, Good luck with your surgery, I hope you are feeling better soon and your recovery is quick!<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Does anyone know if you have you surgery in mexico what is the Bmi they require mine is 35.5 is that enough for the lapband surgery? Also what about that 6 month diet plan, Is that nessassary, or just if you use insurance? I will probably use Audree Doctor.

Good luck Audree and Susan!! My thoughts are with you. Be sure to check in with us when you feel up to it.

LaJuanna,

Dr. Ortiz, who was my doctor and is Audree's does not require a six month diet, just a week before surgury. And a BMI of 35.5 is perfectly acceptable.

Good luck.

Thank you so very much. It all sounds good to me. Gosh Im ready, waiting on the moolaa to come in. Real soon I hope.

Hi ladies,

Wondering how your surgeries went?? Hope you are feeling good and everything went well. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Audree, You will probably be gone by tomorrow when I arrive at Dr. Ortiz's office for my fill. However, I'll keep my eye out for you.

Hope you get some rest and start recovering now.

Kathy
