It's the same for me. Actually I doubt I've lost that much. We'll see tomorrow morning when I step on the scale. I've at least lost what I gained in surgery. And I've lost 49 since starting this whole thing. Guess its my body's way of trying to control things :/

Its normal. Your body is still swollen and holding on to Fluid. Give it at least a couple of weeks and the lbs will be falling off. And congratulations and welcome to the sleeve side.

Thanks! I'm getting my staples removed in the morning! Very excited to have them out because they are very uncomfortable

I'm two weeks today' date=' and have lost only six. I'm so sad.[/quote']

You will get there. Your body is healing. Honestly you shouldnt weigh yourself until about a month out. That way you give your body time to heal. I know its hard not to weigh yourself, you are just to excited to find out how much you are losing. Give it time it will happen. And ofcourse congratulations and welcome to the sleeve side.

I haven't had surgery yet so I can't speak from experience, but I do work in the medical field.I know your body is going through a healing process and you could have some fluid retention.

But on the brighter side you lost 5lbs!!!! That's great!!

"Only five pounds" hunny you just had major surgery it isnt gonna happen over night. I know its hard to be patient, and you want to start the losing game but it will happen. We didnt all the weight over night so it wont come off over night. Your swollen and your body is healing give it a few weeks before you start weighting yourself for realz. I am 13 weeks post op started at 322 and as of today i am 250 70+ lbs down and i didnt really start losing til week 3-5. Just relax rest and sip sip sip :)

Normal.

Most people put on 10 pounds or more in the first few days after surgery because of IV fluids. If you've lost that plus five more, you're doing good! Congrats!
