3 1/2 weeks post op-HELP

I am 3 1/2 weeks post op and have lost 31 pounds total including pre op diet 15 pounds. I have not however lost any more weight over the last week, my first stall possibly and I am feeling hopeless that I will not lose anymore although I know that is not true. Has any one else had issues at this point? What are people eating at this stage? my doc said pureed for 5 weeks but some things like chicken I am just chewing really well but just a few bites and im satisfied.

I'm 2 weeks out, so I haven't hit a stall yet, but everyone says that when you start to stall it is your body going into starvation mode. you should up your calories to get your body burning fat again. And up your protein if it was lower than it should be. I did have a couple of days around 300 calories and I noticed I didn't loose as much so I added a protein drink with real sugar to get in some more calories and protein. It seemed to do the trick-at least until I can take in a bit more at meals.

Hi try not to be discouraged....stalls happen. It is true .... if you up your calories a little your body will respond... As counterproductive as it may seem it worked for me! Best Wishes
