Birth control pills users

How long after surgery did you ladies continue birth control? I'm 5 wks out and I really do not want any surprises...

I was told I could not take the pill anymore due to the fact that it may not absorb correctly. I had to choose a non pill option. But I was told to wait 2 weeks before resuming birth control. Different doctors different rules :)

I'm pre-op and asked my NUT about them - she said to continue taking them as regularly prescribed as they shouldn't cause me problems...they're tiny lil' pills! :)

My dr said its fine ....am taking (duphaston) its tiny pill so any small tiny pill no pb....

Hmm.. I'm on nuvaring and didn't even think to ask about stopping. I'll have to ask my surgeon
