Question? Liquid Tylenol Multi-Stmptom Cold

So I have a head cold. I usually take DayQuil/NyQuil gelcaps (preop), and am 8 weeks postop now. Wasn't thrilled about swallowing what I'm remembering and making out in my head...a huge pill, so I got liquid tylenol cold. Swallowed the first tbsp and it burned all the way down my throat and into my sleeve. It's like I could feel it coat my sleeve. Food, drink, nothing has bothered me, but this stuff is setting my tummy on fire. Drank some water thinking it might help flush it down but still have some discomfort. Didnt even attempt the second tbsp. Anyone else ever had this problem?

I'm in the same boat as you. I tried to swallow some NyQuil and it immediately came back up! I've just been taking the gelcaps since. I'm 5 weeks out and I can swallow them just fine.
