Pain killers?

I went back to work Tuesday and also went to the gym for the 1st time since surgery. Now my back and left side are killing me! I was told by the surgeon I can not take anything with aspirin for the rest of my life. Has this happened to anyone? If so what did you take to relieve the pain?

You can take Tylenol only. No ibuprofen.

Can you tell me why you can't take aspirin? I only just started my research. Thanks.

My doctor said cause they can cause Ulcers .. And they can take a long time to heel so you don't want them ..they told me no pain meds a month before surgery

I take ibuprofen and I always make sure it's with food. It's ok with my dr, I would ask yours.
