I am SHOCKED you have tried eggs and chicken meatballs! I have never seen anyone progress to those foods in a week. In fact, my first week was clear fluids only, the 2nd week was full liquids eg Prote

You know girls this kinda thread comes up every week someone is fresh out of surgery (1 week)

And starving so they poke around here until they find somebody doing something different or someone tells them that they are eating solid food because their doctor said ok to it.

We are food addicts looking for a fix, looking for an enabler.

Does anyone here read where I've told this poster to contact said Dr.?? Wow

I guess because there are so many food addicts Here People who don't have any post op complications and have a dr who advises them of something different that your doctors, that must automatically mean we shouldn't advise on how our journey is going.

Sorry but..

I wasn't talking about you specifically,

If I were I would of quoted you

Well being there are only 2 active posters and yourself the words girls I think it's safe to say you were talking to me.

I was talking to you but not ABOUT YOU

Specifically..

Like I said I see this kind of posting all the time,

We want to eat. We look for others and what they are doing....

Don't leave because of me!

I don't understand why some new people are so sensitive. I am only 8 weeks out, so I am no veteran. However, it appears that not all doctors set their patients up for success. Having a real meal at such an early stage can't be healthy. When a person is that new, the stomach, staples, stitches are still healing. Adding excess textured food and stomach acid can't be a good thing. I would hope/suggest people take most comments for what it is meant to be, which is concern not criticism.

I was hungry too the first week, I was sleeved on the 8th. I called the nutritionist and she let me have a protien shake...... Hope this helps someone..... Stay well
