Suprising offer by hubby.

  • Popular Post

So, I bought a bunch of Protein shake samples and have been having one a day for Breakfast to see which ones I like. I usually offer/make my dad and hubby taste them just a single sip if they're around.

Today, I was offering a sip of the Cherry Synthrax nectar shake to the hubby and he told me it was nice and then he dropped the following bomb:

Yeah, I can drink those if you get them for our 2 week liquid pre-op diet.

WHAT? "Our" ?????

Then he goes on to elaborate that he plans on doing the liquid pre-op diet with me as he figures he helped me get so fat along the way he can help me get skinny too.

Too cute!

Anyways, I guess I'll have to ask my NUT about him doing it too...

My husband has been so supportive too. He took time off work to be home with me after surgery and he has logged all my protein, fluids etc. He and my son have been supportive and just want me to be healthy. Since surgery no more diabetes medicine. My husband said he feels like he is part of my weight loss journey and that we are a team. Of course my son and husband are very fit. It truly does make me feel loved and it is nice to hear them say how proud they are of me.

My husband is doing the pre op diet with me also, but I can be strong willed if he decides something else is better lol

But it does help when your husband is so supportive.

Wow, he is a KEEPER!!

That is soooo sweet! You are a lucky gal. There is no way my DH would do that.
