I'm feeling so much better and I'm able to drink so much more. I'm feeling so much better and I have more energy. It will get so much better.

Thank you thank you thank you. I was able to finish 2 protein shakes yesterday a 16 oz bottled water, 12 oz of tea and 8 oz of grape juice. Plus I had some broth and jello. This is a huge first for me

I'm 11 days out, I feel very weak and light headed, I have been sip sip sipping but not sure if I'm having enough.. I feel so thirsty and my mouth is so dry. I have been sucking on hydralite ice block

I'm so overwhelmed right now. I had my 1st week postoperative visit and I ended up in the ER for dehydration/ exhaustion. So folks this is serious. Please whatever you do drink your required fluids. I had been having issues with discomfort and also fear of drinking too much at once. Which is what eventually led to my dehydration. So please take care of yourself. Also because of this my surgeon has me on clear liquids too. I cannot advance to the next phase. :-(
