I hate this

I just had this surgery and I feel like its the worst thing I've ever done. I'm 18 and I live with my parents. My mom just tells me to stop whining and both of my parents are eating whatever they want around me. Also, I don't know how I'm gonna get all this water in much less protein, food or even vitamins.. I'm like alone in this whole thing. none of my friends know either. I feel like I've made the biggest mistake in the world by having this surgery. )':

Cj hang in there, I basically wrote the same thing you did a week into mine. I am now two weeks and two days pos op and it does get better. I still struggle getting fluids in as nothing taste right. It's a struggle but does get better. Keep reading this site.

I am 3 weeks out and it does get easier. You also have to remember that you chose this and everyone else is not going to completely change their eating habits because of your choice. It would be great if everyone was sensitive to your situation, but unfortunately they aren't going to. Relax and just concentrate on staying hydrated at this point.
