I want to start a scale challenge...this is for all of you (including myself ) that get on that scale more then once a week...

Today I have made the challenge to myself to only get on it every Monday morning..

As of this morning my weight is 229

This is a great way to not obsess with what the scale reads through out the week if I have some challengers to do it with me

Next weigh in Monday 7/27

Any takers??

I am down 2 pounds this week but like Michelle it wasn't fun I pb'd and was sore for

a few days. That makes a total of 10 pounds since my fill.

Well I made it thru that Holiday. Fortunately for me it is my favorite one.

Have only lost what two pounds over the last month and then I drop two for this week. Hmmm Think going to have another Thanksgiving this Thursday too.

CARMEN STOLE MY GOAL WEIGHT! GIVE IT BACK. Rock on, girl! I'm only up 3 pounds now (better than the 6 pounds I was up.)

And where is Gross Darcy? It's not like her to be gone so long.

Im so happy to hear of everyones weight loss especially over a long holiday weekend and also happy for those who may not have lost but did not gain, ..with all the negativity going on with this board in a "certain" post..it makes me feel so good to see some possitive. All of you have become my 2nd family..With out all of the love & support I have recieved I do not think I would be so successful in my weight loss..You guys are the best! Keep up the good work all of you!

Help! I am soooo mad at myself! My neighbor works at Pizza Inn and gave my family a pizza when she came home from work. I ate 2 peices last night and got up and ate 2 more for breakfast! What is wrong with me? I have been doing so good-sat down and wrote out my goals, set my plan in action, have been exercising and stretching, watching EVERY bite I put in my mouth AND THEN I GO AND BLOW IT!!!!! Why do I do this? I know I am going to hate my self. I know I am going to feel like I have failed. Why do I put this crap in my mouth, chew it up, and swallow it-Knowing that it is killing me???? I am D-I-S-G-U-S-T-E-D! Do you hear me? I AM DISGUSTED!!!! How am I going to lose 100 pounds doing stupid stuff like this? Thin Crust Pepperoni pizza is a torturing devise sent straight from the devil him self!!!!

OOPS Sorry Michelle, I didn't mean to be negative. Hey, where is that Negative post? I am nosy! ;-)

We all do that once in a while, one day is not going to kill you, just get back on your regular eating now and forget the pizza mistake. If you dwell on it and beat yourself up you are just setting yourself up for more problems. Put it behind you and enjoy the rest of the day.

I agree 100% with Betty..forget about the Pizza, if you dont it will just get worse. When I had a day of blowing it I used to say Hell with it I allready blew it so why not blow it all day..DO NOT DO THAT!!! No sabatoging yourself. You can do this Lauri..you seem to be on the right track with writing out your goals, exercising etc..Dont give up. Start over and you are not a faliure, we all have days like this! The best thing you can do is not beat yourself up about it and get back up on that " band wagon"

Marie - I am so sorry you are having problems again. Maybe the 2 months of unfill with really help you heal up good. I think you will be able to hold your own with the weight, IF YOU STAY AWAY FROM THE COOKIES AND CANDY this month! :D:):) You have done a great job, and you will continue to do so. If you don't, we will all YELL at you! lol

Laurie, maybe you need to change your goals. For the first six months I didn't have any number goals. My goals were to be happier and to want to live. Maybe you should change your goal to "from now on I will eat like a normal person." Normal people have days when they eat more than they should have, but they don't hate themselves for it. They just move on. You are completely normal. If we don't screw up from time to time then we can't call ourselves human, now can we. Good for you for realizing you ate too much pizza and for sharing it with us because we all love you, pizza and all. I did the same exact thing over the weekend. We went to California, and my husband HAD to have his very favorite (since there's no Numero Uno in Vegas.) But the next morning, I ate 2 pieces of pizza while everyone was asleep. The dogs weren't even awake yet, so I can't even say I shared bits with them! And I'm someone that's never, ever been able to eat in the mornings because of too much restriction, but the pizza slid right down. Be good to you.
