Normal

I was healing fine and last few days have lot of soreness and little bit of pain in one spot in stomach. On left side about 1in from belly button in between two of my incisions. Is this normal ? Did I push myself to quickly been doing regular housework and bending etc, and picked up my son once by mistake ?

  • Hi not sure how far post op you are... I would invest in abdominal binder. It helped me a lot during the first month but I think I purchased it maybe by the 10th day after surgery(lol) Best of luck

A lot of us got this pain from the internal sutures healing and from regular bending twisting..

Are you ok otherwise?

Yes eating fine (purée) no fever or anything just pain in one spot

I wouldn't panic then :) as I know your not:)

Oh does it hurt when moving twisting?

  • Author

Yes if bend or twist and slightly tender to touch but doesn't hurt if sitting still.
