... By mistake. They look just like Tylenol so I got them mixed up. They contain aspirin which I've been told not to take. Is this going to be a big problem? I am 3 1/2 months out if that makes a difference. Thanks for the help!

My doctor told me it was ok to take nsaids as long as it's not on a consistent basis since it could irritate the stomach. If you're feeling fine, then it's probably ok. Just keep the Tylenol and Excedrin far far away from each other

I suffer from migraines and Excederine is the only over the counter medicine that I have found that works well for me. I asked my doctor on my discharge day if it was okay to take. He said yes. I think you are fine taking it.
