A May Sleever

Hi all! I am new to this app and still trying to figure some things out! I am striving for a May 6th date in TJ. I went through A Lighter Me. I have requested Dr. Lopez. Wondering if anyone else is having sleeve surgery around then? I'm so very excited but scared at the same time. This is just so wonderful and I can't believe I am finally getting this opportunity!

My surgery is set for May 13th. I had been doing great since seeing Dr and Nutritionist at my first appointments. Despite severe back and knee pain, I was going to the gym a couple times a week, recording what I ate on My Fitness Pal...etc.

but after eating a "normal" Easter dinner, I gained 6 of the 12 pounds that I had lost, I was devastated. I'm now on some strange last chance eating fixatin. I'm not over eating...not gaining. But I feel like I need to say goodbye for awhile to some of my favorite foods.

Im also trying to eat slower, chew more and not drink water. Im gona be honest and tell you im nervous and doubting my ability to e happy post op with my decision

Anyone else struggling with this.

P.S.

As of today, I'm back to my 12 lb loss. The scale even dipped to 308 a few times. I guess I've been doing better than I thought. Just nervous.

Im May 2nd in TJ with Dr. Quinones. Weightlosswithsurgery.com I am so excited but a little cranky because I am day 3 on liquid diet.

I'm May 20 but same doc and same place :)
