Staff after surgery?

Sleeved on the 6th. All going well with the surgery itself. Just noticed a little tenderness on the inside of my thigh. Looks like a staff in the early stages. (I've had it in the exact same spot twice before). Nervous now. Can't wait to talk to my surgeon tomorrow to make sure we can keep it under control.

I think you mean Staph infection. :-) No need to worry that it is automatically a staph infection! Could be infected slightly but you won't know the causative agent unless the drainage is cultured. MRSA is a serious staph infection and hopefully you don't have that! If your doc thinks you need antibiotics it should clear, if it doesn't then you might get it cultured and get the right treatment. Keep us posted!

Ok I just read on your leg! I thought you were talking about your incisions. So if you have had previous staph infections on your legs it could be back! I hope it a works out. Keep us posted

yikes! That is scary stuff, i hope it all goes well with the doc. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
