  1. Thank you! Feel better hearing that. Seeing that number on the scales was scary.
  2. Hi friends. I had a hysterectomy yesterday and was weighed before surgery---187. Today, 199. What the heck???? I am so upset.
  3. Sleeved March 6th. Two months tomorrow.
  4. I'm from Moody Alabama. About 15 miles from Birmingham.
  5. One day. Surgery at 5:30 am Wednesday, home by 11:00 am Thursday.
  6. Sleeved by Dr Lee Schmitt in Birmingham. Wonderful experience.
  7. I was sleeved March 6th. Pre surgery weight 238. Surgery day 230. Today, 208. Compared to most, I am a slow looser. Still super excited!!! I love hearing everyone else's stories. You guys rock!!!!

  9. I'm right there with you. I was three weeks out yesterday. Fluctuate between 212 and 213. Starting weight was 236. I'm still super excited though! Increasing my fluids. (As much as I can, lol). The stall isn't getting me down! We got this!!!
  10. Days 4, 5, and 6 were tough. I thought I was going to starve which is funny to me now. I'm far from that, lol. It got so much easier after making it through those days. Try to get some protein in. It helps. Good luck to you!!
  11. My nutritionist plan is two weeks liquids before surgery,1 day all clear liquids before surgery, 2 weeks liquids after. Days 15 to 28 soft. Then two weeks semi soft, then move on to regular diet. Will be two weeks Wednesday. So excited! I will say that days 4 and 5 were the absolute worst as far as thinking I was hungry. After that, things were so much better. Just getting about 40 grams of protein in now. Trying to increase that daily. Good luck friends. We can do this!!!!
  12. Praying for you and your family. I know this has been difficult for you all and especially you. Please keep us up to date.

  15. I was told I could swallow my meds as long as they are smaller than an M & M. I use a pill splitter for any larger. No problems. Sleeved on March 6th.
  16. One week today!! Down 14 pounds. All is going great and woke up today feeling my best by far. However; I appear to be dehydrated. Walked a for about an hour yesterday and didn't focus enough on my fluids. Trying to kick in in this morning. Wishing everyone a wonderful blessed day. :-). Sip, sip, sip.

  18. Day 6-one bite of mashed potatoes from my sons plate. OMG! So good!!
  19. Sleeved on the 6th. All going well with the surgery itself. Just noticed a little tenderness on the inside of my thigh. Looks like a staff in the early stages. (I've had it in the exact same spot twice before). Nervous now. Can't wait to talk to my surgeon tomorrow to make sure we can keep it under control.
