!Pre-op diet help!

I am on week 5 of my pre-op diet. I was only supposed to be on it for 3 weeks but my surgery got delayed for 2 extra weeks. I have cheated some this week and my surgery is March 12th. I am so scared about making my liver fat again. I've lost 25 lbs total since staring this process. Am I going to be okay if I stick to the diet from now until Tuesday?? What does everyone think?? I'm really worried!

I'm in NC. Good luck!!

Good luck to you both. Are any of you taking any specific vitamins with your pre-op diet? I have heard that others take supplements for hair loss etc. I was told to start taking in the correct amount of protein but didn't know about the vitamins.

I am not taking any vitamins pre-op but I am going to take Biotin to help with hair loss post-op in addition to all the other vitamins.

Good luck tomorrow. I am from Lafayette Louisiana and just starting the pre-op diet. I am looking at April 23 for my life change/ Still a little nervoous about this adventure but I know it is for my health.

Hey lory2922, we are practically neighbors. I am in Alexandria! Good luck to you as well. I saw Dr. Chu in Lafayette a year or so back about WLS, but changed my mind then. Who are you using? Keep in touch!

You will be fine ... Dont read into the pre op diet too much if the cant get tonit laproscopic due to fatty liver then they do open ... I ate up until the day before surgery and had my sleeve done laproscopic perfectly fine ...
