It will get better. You just went through major surgery and your stomach just had a major trauma happen to it.

No need to be a hero. Right now is very important to listen to your body. Take pain meds as prescribed. Don't wait for pain to start. Stay ahead of it. If your body says to sleep, then sleep. When you are awake take small sips of room temp water and try to walk every 30 minutes. Even if its a lap around the room. Focus on small victories. Right now it might be too overwhelming to think about the big picture. Focus on sipping, walking, and protein.

Remember it will get better. Every day you will notice improvements. No matter how small, those improvements are part of you getting to a healthier life.

It gets better after the first couple weeks. Remember, you did just have an extremely invasive procedure where they removed 85% of major organ. It's going to hurt. Once your body gets over hating you for that, it's not as bad.

Heyher you gave some really good advise I need to keep that in mind when I have my surgery next Monday.

I was sleeved on 2/12 and I felt exactly the same way !!!!!!! I could not get comfortable I prayed that I wouldn't sneeze barely slept and just had absolutely no appetite wasn't even intrested in drinking water I remember crying and tellin both my mom and dad I regretted it and kept saying what did I get myself into my turn around day was day 12 it gets so much better I promise!!! Makes me sad you feel this way and I know the feeling all too well best wishes !!!

I was sleeved 12 days ago. Still have ZERO energy. No appetite. Pain is not much but I feel zapped. I've only left house twice in 12 days. Trying hard to get protein and water in
