drinking while eating

This is a habit I cannot break. I am on puree and I take tiny sips after I take a couple bites because I get thirsty after eating. I can't eat without drinking.

Yes I knew this I lost 18 lbs in 2 weeks. I'm almost 3 weeks post op. I just eat less if I'm taking in liquids too. I try to take a tiny sip with meals.

My surgeon allows it with meals but with a max amount of less than four ounces and prefers closer to two. It hasn't hurt my losses.

I don't know if its just me but when I drink after eating too soon I can feel it sitting on the food and I keep burping up water so I've learnt to wait lol
