I haven't asked to be added to the FB page, because I don't want any of it to be co-mingled with my FB network. So, please explain how this page is beneficial and how it still remains discreet. I've deliberately kept this site unassociated with Facebook because of this.

It is a "Secret" group. No one on your facebook friends list will be able to see anything in the group, that you're a member of the group, or that the group even exists. I haven't told most of the people on my friends list about my surgery. Most of our members are keeping their surgery relatively secret. If your concern is privacy, it's not an issue, because no one can see the group exists, anything in the group, or even if a person is a member of the group unless they are a member of the group themselves. And, in order to become a member of the group, you have to be approved by a moderator.

Sure! It wouldn't let me add you for some reason, just facebook being glitchy. It happens sometimes. Anyway, I sent you a friend request instead. Once you accept, I can add you into the group that way.
