23 Days post op and having pain

Ok, so my pain had gotten better at my 2 wk post op but this week I have had left sided pain again. Its a sharp pain and hurts if I lay on my left side. I go back to work on Monday and really hoping this goes away soon. My doctor said I may have pain and it would be normal. When did you all become pain free?

if you feel that this pain is different or alarms you enough to post - check in with your doctor. and a quick temp check. not every hour.....heehee just make sure no fever. you know your body best - follow your instinct and i hope you feel better.

Your stomach is on the left side so the healing from being cut and stapled could last up to six weeks.

Just keep in contact with your doctor so he can tell you what to expect and monitor your process.

I remember hurting for 6 weeks... Some bad days some good days

Same thing happened with me as well at 3 weeks out. It got better this week in fact. It will be off and on for up tp 8 weeks I was told. Good luck.
