2nd day post-op PLS GOD HELP ME!

Yesterday after surgery I was fine...this morning starting at 1 I was up pain meds didn't do much at that point but all day the gas pains were horrible an now (I'm home) an stomach is killing me pls tell me this is normal an 2'rw will be a better day???

  • Perfectly normal! I felt the same way. Walk around your house as much as you can and the gas pains will get better. Drinking my liquids warm really helped me too. Hang in there!

  • All normal! I thought day 2 and 3 were worst. Walk. Walk walk and try really hard to get your fluids. Keep us updated but a week from now you will think it is much easier.

I'm 12 days post op and day 1-4 were horrible! I couldn't take the pain, the gas and the "hunger" pains/nausea. It gets better. Take pain meds BEFORE it hurts. Be regular about it. I still have a weird muscular pain in my lower left abdomen. Getting in and out of bed still hurts. Hoping that goes away.

Hang in there...worst is over !
