2/19 Surgery

My surgery went well. Thank you so much for all the thoughts and prayers. Due to extreme health issues I have I spent an extra night in the hospital, plus we are two hours away from the hospital. We are on our way home. I will be so glad to be able to sleep in my bed tonight. I have not had any vomiting or nausea at all. My potassium levels dropped but I had potassium by IV do not recommend the liquid potassium, it tastes nasty!!

I will update more later. My follow up with surgeon is in one week.

  • Glad you made it to the other side! I'm 3 weeks out and I can tell you although these next few days may be rough, it gets easier and easier and it doesn't take that long to begin feeling better! Co

Same here. Just got released about an hour ago. I'm wearing a binder bc one of my incisions is just causing a burning pain. Stupid pharmacy has yet to retrieve their voice mails so they haven't filled my prescription for pain meds. Dreading the next few hours. Little gassy but overall ok.

Congrats on your surgery :)
