Hey! I have a nose piercing. i have noticed that the piercing hole has loosened since ive been losing weight. anyone else with this experience?

I have my tragus' pierced and I have noticed no change. Seeing as tragus and nose is cartilage I would venture to say it probably isn't really changing in size. Maybe just coincidence...who knows.

As your nose piercing should go through cartilage, there shouldn't be any change in the gauge of your nose piercing, which was probably done at an 18 or so. Without more information about the type of jewelry you're wearing (ring, l-bend, corkscrew, etc.) it's hard to say.

I have my eyebrow, nose, and lip done and haven't noticed any changes at all.

Do we have to remove the piercing during surgery?

Yes, you should remove piercings during surgery. If you're worried about them closing, I recommend using a good heavy coating of neosporin or vaseline over the holes.
