Today I got the call saying I was approved. Shatty part is I have to wait until April 17 because my surgeon is booked until then. Anyone else looking at April as their month? My stats are 31 year old female 250lbs 5'5". Pant size 20. Lowest weight after dieting was 165lbs. I did ivf and hormone treatment for sometime and gained a significant amount of weight. OMG, I got my approval today! I finally got it. I am so excited. I go to see my surgeon on Monday and I will get my date then. I am hoping to have my surgery on April 17th, but we will see. What a happy Friday!

Hey, me too!!!! I turned 40 in January and knew it was time!!!

I'm scheduled for April 8th with Dr. Jiser at LGH in Lowell, MA.

In May I turn 35. I'm done having kiddos and its time to take care of this so I can keep up with my kids. They're 4 and 1.5 and growing up too fast. I'm hoping this surgery is the best birthday gift I could ever give myself and my family.
