Confused!

Hi I'm really new to all of this.

I have been going through the the appointments for over a year now and I still don't have a operation date, is this normal?

I have my food and nutrition education appointment next week and I have an appointment with the surgeon on March 12th. How many more appointments are there from this point? My surgeon is at kings collage hospital London, is anyone else having their operation at this hospital?

Thank you for any help or advice.

Jodi xx

Wow thats a long time. I started investigating in September of last year and have a date for next month. But that is all in the States so I can't say how it works for the UK docs. I had to do like 3 months worth of various appointments and meetings but that was about it.

I would say just ask your doctor what the whole process looks like and what to expect for a time frame.

Are you NHS?

There is a site called WLSurgery.com which is. uk one and there is a sleeve section, some of the people there are NHS patients and they should be able to help you. You might even find someone who has dealt with your hospital.
