Ouch!

I bent over earlier to pick something up and I'm pretty sure I pulled an abdominal muscle by my incision on the left. HOLY CRAP! Sneezing, getting up or down. ..anything that uses uour stomach muscles...really, really hurts now. Sleeping is gonna suck!

It's just crazy. All I did was bend over, nothing strenuous!

I pulled mine from just driving :) I really think it happens to most everyone no matter how careful you are.

How far out does it usually happen? I am 3 1/2 weeks out.

I'm only two weeks out.

Yes if you are going to get it, it will happen in the two to three week mark... So you might be good!

:)

Yes I think this happened to me- I am three weeks out and was feeling pretty good then lots of pain recently under incision where stomach came out of. Feels like a pulling pain- very tender. how long does it last? should I call my doctor? what to do? I have been icing it and trying to relax

I did it at two weeks also..after a few days of pure hell it got much better and the pain went away..good luck!!

I did the same thing at 7 days post op. It got so bad that I couldn't hardly move which made it hard to get my fluids in. Long story short- got dehydrated and had to be admitted for 3 days for pain control and fluids. I came home with a pain patch and a prescription for oral pain meds too. Much better now, only a little sore.

7 days post op and I'm getting those pains now feels like do things tearing in there I've also been getting pain and numbness in my upper thigh font know if its related but I'm do over taking pain meds but these pains are pretty sharp

Mine only lasted about a week. Just had to take it easy and used pain meds at night. And ice.
