Help...

Having trouble swallowing ... I am three months out down 65 pounds however, within the last 5 days I have been experiencing pain when I swallow. It feels like a big lump. Makes me short of breath and nauseated. I have chewed my food to mush but still have troubles. I eat things like beans, scram egg, chicken. Has anyone experienced this? If so what were your remedies?

It does not happen a lot, but it's not uncommon either for the esophagus to constrict near the stomach, or for there to even be a stricture at the top of the stomach.

Either way the resolution is fairly simple. You'd need to see your Dr. about getting scoped and having the restriction dilated. This is a very simple office procedure and can be taken care of in just a few minutes.
