calories

Wondering how many calories I'm supposed to be getting a day? Just had surgery on 2/5. Only taking in 300-400 right now.

  • I think at this point you just need to worry about getting in water and protein. I didn't count calories until soft foods and I think I was only getting about 400 calories at that time.

Sounds about right if you just had surgery :)

I'm several months out and I take in anywhere from 500 to 700 a day.

Just make sure your calories are mostly from protein

Really? Wow! I have not had mine yet. Do you feel hungry or tired from not having much food?
