10 days post op questions

Hey guys! So I'm 10 days post op, down 13 lbs, and have a few questions.

1. I get easily agitated and run out of breath faster than usual. Is this normal?

2. No matter what I drink or eat (liquids, Soup, pudding), I get heartburn and I'm constantly burping. Anyone else experience this? If so, how long did it last.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Super Bowl Sunday! Looking forward to everyone's response :)

Hey, the re flux feeling your getting is the gases from the surgery they will continue to be released through your body for another week or 2. The shortness of breath is due to that as well, you had major surgery your body is sore and is adjusting as well. If you still have that plastic tube that you were supposed to breath deep into at the hospital you can try doing that for a few extra days to see if that might help.

I will be three weeks post op on Tuesday. I had the exact same issues ~ the agitation, shortness of breath and the burping. Wondered if I would ever feel normal again! I promise you will. I feel better than I have in a very long time. Hang in there you should start feeling better soon. The agitation has been much better in the last day or two. For a while there everyone & everything annoyed me : )
