Can I eat corn?

I love corn,but I know it's kinda hard to digest ..is it safe to eat corm..I a m two weeks post op

Hi Iweeny, I would suggest that you check with your surgeon and if he/she okays it then sure, go for it.

I was on a liquid diet for the first 2 weeks followed by mushies another 2 weeks as advised by my doc because at this point the stomach is still healing.

My surgeon didn't want me eating corn until I got to full food(5 weeks in my case). But every Dr seems to vary on these things. Good Luck.

Corn was off limit for me for 8 weeks. Still have not eaten it yet. Like you said every Dr. is different, i would follow his recommendations. Good Luck!

corn is also a starch, which they want you to stay away from.
