Hi!!! It went well . My nutricionist spoke to me about portioning what I eat and learning how to eat before and after surgery. She said its very important that I understand what I'm getting myself into because a lot of mess up after surgery because they don't learn to eat little and eat whole grains and lots of fruits and veggies . Basically asked me which surgery I was looking to get I said VSG. She also spoke to me about my eating habits how many times I eat this how many times I eat that. I was also weighed and got my blood pressure done . So I have 4 more visits before they submit to insurance . Ugh I wish this was over with , it's very overwhelming :(

Yea all that is actually done after the 6 month weight management. Good luck!

My weight management appointments have been with my surgeons nurse prac. whom I love! First appointment was a quick chat, weigh in, and then came the homework. Food dairy and going to the gym 7 days a week. Yikes! Won't lie that didn't happen. The second appointment was another weigh in and mostly chatting about caloric intake, carbs, protein, fats. Pretty much a nutrition class.. Last appointment in 2 weeks! Can't wait! We honestly talked about me not losing too much weight (borderline BMI 42) during this process just understanding and thinking about food choices and starting to exercise!
