Do you have a favorite lotion?

I was sleeved 1/10 with 20# gone from my 100# goal!!

I am happy with how easy this has been. I am thinking ahead of the loose skin that I know will happen. I was going to start using lotion to help the skin with the elasticity.

What brand have you used or heard to use? There is too many to choose from and I would rather get one that someone uses and works.

Thank you

I was just advised to take any thick lotion or oils that have a large % of vitamin E....that's what will help tighten your skin....I'm using several different kinds but palmers that you see on tv for pregnancy stretch marks and all is a good one....anything like that is what you want. I lotion up 2 times a day....of course it will be hard to see the difference for a while but a guy friend of mine swears by it.

I'm glad you asked this question... I'm curious to see what people say. I hope to be sleeved in March and have already started to try to get in the habit of full body lotion every day to keep my skin hydrated in the hopes that will reduce hanging/wrinkly skin. I use Kirkland (Costco) brand lotion. It comes in a 2pack and it's really think and smells nice but not too strong. I'm 44 and have carried 50-100 extra pounds around for about 15 years, and I'm most concerned about my thighs.

I meant to say "thick" not "think"!

Thanks, I found the palmers at target. I am now going to health store to buy vitamin E oil. I hope this will at least help the skin issue.

Thank you.

My cousin had sleeve surgery last year and lost 100+ lbs. one of his pointers for me was to find lotion that was thick, had collagen and Vitamin E. his skin looks great and shows no signs of loose skin.

Sent from my iPad using VST

I read also the lotion should have Keratin.
