finished.

I'm done with all the necessary requirements. Had my psych eval today. They are going to submit to my insurance next week. One thing I don't have is a letter from my Pcp. I asked my insurance coordinator and she said I didn't need it. Wish me luck. I have Aetna and my BMI is 46 I have high blood pressure and severe sleep apnea I should get approved no problem.

I had all those co morbidities and still didn't get approved. My insurance is Coventry though and they pay for nothing even though they get 1200.00 in premiums a month from us and my husbands employer. :/ I was self pay.

Wow. Sorry to hear that. Why didn't they approve it? They must not approve weight lost surgeries.

Yeah. They don't. There are a lot of insurance companies that don't . I don't understand that either. Doesn't seem fair.

I was denied the first time with Aetna, but I appealed & was approved the next week! Good luck!

Wow. Why did they not approve you the first go round?

I didn't have any comorbitites & I only had 1 1/2 yrs of medical records..they wanted 2 but I hadn't seen the doc during that time! I wrote a letter & explained everything & they approved me.
