Feeling Overwhelmed

Ok, I was sleeved on Dec. 20th 2012. I've lost 45 lbs. since my first consult in Oct. (19 lbs. pre-op and 26 lbs. post-op) But now I'm feeling overwhelmed. I'm thankful for every single lb. lost, but I still have SO far to go!!!

I found it to be overwhelming and kind of a lonely road at first. The good news is that it gets better. The worst is behind you!! You're going to be great.

I was just sleeved on Thursday. Tonight my family went out to eat. I know the feeling but I am trying to concentrate on the long term results of the surgery but its not helping much.

I was sleeved on Dec 13 have lost about he sae since surgery and I felt so overwelmed in the beginning. It is getting better everyday and we are looseing!! We will all make to the end together! Take a day at a time...........

I jus keep telling myself that I did not get like this over night. And it will take time to get to my goal. Hang in there. My sister took two years to reach her goal but now she is doing great and looks wonderful. Positive thought coming your way.

I was sleeved one month ago and so far I have lost about 20 pounds (started at 262, and I'm 5'9).

Today i saw a pic of myself from last summer and I was soooo big! But I was not at my heaviest yet at that time - I was probably at 253 or so. Soo now in my mind my 20 pound loss has turned in to only 15 pounds from that picture. Anyways at 240 I have so much further to go!! And your mind plays all these head games with you, and I'm so glad I've got you guys to keep me sane. This journey is going to take a long time and I just have to settle in for the ride....

Seriously, one dsy at a time we will all make it together if you look at all the successes on this site. Let them inspire you we all have a great chance to change of health and our lives lets sieze the moment for real!!
