I'm thinking about getting sleeved soon. My insurance has been approved for baratric surgery. I have an appt for intake on 1/28 and I met with the surgeon on 2/4. Any advice you would give me that wasn't given to you?

My advice is to focus on why you are having the surgery, and the things you want to achieve and keep your eye on the prize. All the pre-op hassle, the pre/post-op liquid diets, anxiety, emotional ups/downs are small things in the big picture and they fade very quickly when you start seeing the scale dropping along with your pant size. Good luck and I wish you a quick process and a smooth recovery post-op.

Traci, that is wonderful advice. Thank you. I am being sleeved on Feb 5. I very nervous and it's hard to not second guess this procedure but I need to just focus on the outcome. I'm copying your response and sticking it everywhere to stay on track. Thank you so much and God bless you both!
